Stranger Things Season 3: New Poster And Teaser Reveals Release Date

This is intriguing as heck.

Stranger Things is possibly one of Netflix’s most popular shows today and it’s easy to see why since the show is damn good. The nostalgic tone of the sci-fi series reminiscent of 1980s Steven Spielberg films along with its setting that takes place in said time period offers plenty of fun and thrills. The first two seasons were great following a group of middle school kids and their friend who has superpowers as they discover some out-of-this-world secrets and mysteries in their small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Things aren’t over as we will be treated to a third season which will dawn on us pretty soon as it has wrapped up filming but it’s release date has been revealed which is July 4th 2019. This release date announcement is courtesy of this little teaser trailer that has us both confounded, uncomfortable and most of all, intrigued.

The teaser features some pretty cool stuff including Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve countdown which is pretty fitting considering that this teaser dropped on New Year’s Eve. However, it has more than just that as the trailer definitely teases some pretty mind-boggling s–t. We see the video glitching with the words highlighting something that reads “When blue and yellow meet in the West”. This could mean… anything but we were also treated to a new poster for Stranger Things season 3 which features Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) wearing blue and yellow respectively which could indicate something. Check out the poster below:

We also see the teaser mentioning “Lynx Corporation,” and a program called SilverCatFeeds.exe which we can assume would have a strong significance in the third season. Of course we have the usual “upside-down” stuff with the countdown broadcast going “upside-down” before revealing the words “One summer can change everything” and then ta da!!! our release date which is July 4th 1985… Oh, Just 4th 2019.

July is gonna be a great time for Stranger Things fans and I guess some Americans are gonna be at home during Independence Day. For us non-Americans, we’re gonna be staying in too.
