Truth be told, it’s honestly a surprise that The Terminator franchise is still kicking since its inception way back in 1984. It’s no doubt that the original Terminator and its sequel Terminator 2: Judgement Day were action masterpieces but it went downhill from there with the latest installment Terminator Genisys considered to be the worst. We’ve known for a while that Terminator 6 (that’s what we’ll call it for now) is on the way with Tim Miller from Deadpool set to direct along with the return of Linda Hamilton and series creator James Cameron. It does seem like they might be going back to basics with this one and it’s definitely showing now that we have a first look at the Terminator sequel.
Paramount Pictures posted on an image on Twitter revealing cast members Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis and the legendary Linda Hamilton looking like they’re about to f–k s–t up. Check out the image below:

They look pretty damn awesome and Mackenzie Davis is looking very reminiscent of Linda Hamilton back in the days of T2. It looks like there’s a chance we might see a passing of the torch-esque scenario here but that’s just me speculating. Linda Hamilton is looking pretty badass herself and with all that heat she’s strapping, we can expect some pretty awesome shoot-outs in the film. Not much to say about Natalie Reyes cause she’s just walking and looking so yeah. It would have been cool to see Arnie as well but we know how the T-800 looks like so it’s fine… for now.
There are still some doubts in the air as to whether they would finally be able to pull it off. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a good Terminator film and it’ll be a real shame if they screw this one up as well especially with these names attached to it. Some would like to finally see this franchise call it quits but maybe we can give them one last chance.
