Zack Snyder has dropped the first official trailer for his much-anticipated Justice League Snyder Cut. We all know the story by now. Snyder decided to step away towards the latter stages of the Justice League production to deal with a personal tragedy. Warner Bros brought in Joss Whedon (The Avengers) to steer the ship back home. Whedon rewrote a lot of the script and even conducted heavy reshoots, which ultimately led to the rather enjoyable but admittedly hollow film we saw in theatres.
Since the release of the film, diehards of Zack Snyder’s vision for the DCEU started a movement, pushing for the release of Snyder’s unadulterated version of Justice League (#ReleaseTheSnyderCut). And what initially seemed — for people outside the movement, at least — as nothing more than a desperate attempt by a pocket of fans to push for something that doesn’t even exist, has, as of a few months ago, become a reality, when Snyder officially announced that the Justice League Snyder Cut is indeed real, indeed happening and will be dropping on HBO Max next year.
Now, we’ve got an official trailer too. Check it out:
