The trailer for the hotly anticipated Malaysian crime thriller film Fly By Night has been released. As well as that, a release date has also been confirmed. The film will be coming out on April 11.
Fly By Night is directed by emerging Malaysian director Zahir Omar, who doses the crime genre with a fresh perspective in his feature debut, starring Sunny Pang. The trailer for this film is gritty and entertaining as heck. If the trailer is any indication, this film could be one of the best crime dramas of the year.

Produced by Perin Petrus and Leonard Tee, a long-time collaborator of Tsai Ming Liang, Fly By Night is co-scripted by Dain Said, Ivan Yeo and Frederick Bailey. Low Keong, who regularly worked with the late Yasmin Ahmad, is also on board as cinematographer. Among the cast, Sunny Pang is known for his role in the Mo Brothers’ action thriller Headshot, while Jack Tan recently starred in award-winning arthouse drama Shuttle Life. The film also stars Bront Palarae.
The crime thriller follows a group of taxi drivers and small-time extortionists, who are forced to escalate their criminal activities to pay off debts. Bront Palare stars as a cop tracking their extortion racket.
Fly By Night will be released nationwide on April 11, and this film really deserves a huge audience.
