It’s safe to say that Aquaman did the DCEU some justice serving up a pretty fun flick centered on the iconic character. The Jason Momoa led flick is earning some pretty positive reviews along with some good box-office numbers that would no doubt prove to be a turning point for the DCEU. Granted, it’s critical reception is not really reaching the heights of the more acclaimed Marvel Cinematic Universe but it does indicate something great from the franchise and it looks like the guys on the other team are expressing some love for the film themselves.
Marvel fans and DC fans are a passionate bunch and through the years, there have been some hot debate n regards to which is considered “better”. However, the creators and filmmakers aren’t really throwing much shade towards the other party despite the heated rivalry and are more or less expressing support for one another. This is evidenced by a recent post from Marvel comics editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski.
Cebulski took to Twitter to express his love for the latest DCEU flick Aquaman highlighting how the film took him back to his childhood as he congratulated the filmmakers behind the project. Check out the tweet below:
Just back from Aquaman. Really enjoyed it! Such a fun flick, the spectacle of it all made me feel like a kid in the theater. Can't wait to take my nephew & niece. Big congrats to @geoffjohns @JimLee @creepypuppet on this superhero splash!

That’s pretty damn awesome proving yet again that this petty rivalry between the two comic book powerhouses is nothing but dogs–t. It’s definitely cool to see Aquaman getting the stamp of approval from their rivals but at this point, don’t we all just wanna watch good comic book films?
