Before Avengers: Endgame hits the big screens, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will grace us with the 1990s set Captain Marvel. The film which stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers will see some familiar faces from the MCU in their younger days including Ronan the Accuser, Nick Fury and Agent Coulson. The film will also see some other big names attached to the film including Jude Law whose role has been kept to a minimal although there has been word that the actor will be playing Mar-Vell.
The film will see Carol as an acting member of a Kree intergalactic military unit called Starforce but the film looks to bring into account her life on earth. The film looks to be exploring an inner conflict surrounding her character’s past and her life in the Starforce unit. Law’s character seems to be a big part of Carol’s life and this a new image highlights that.
Empire revealed a new image from Captain Marvel featuring the characters of Law and Larson as the grasp one another’s hands establishing a strong bond between the two. This does establish a strong relationship with the two with Law’s character possibly being Mar-Vell, Carol’s mentor and commander of Starforce who trains Carol to use her abilities. It’s safe to say that Law would be a big aspect in this film and would be an integral part of Carol’s story. Check out the image below:
The photo doesn’t really give all that much about the plot of the film but we can see the significance of Law’s character in the film and it’s safe to say that we can expect a lot from him. Captain Marvel may offer something cool from these two characters and not only that, it may very well provide an indication as to where Avengers: Endgame could go.
