It’s safe to say that we can expect great things from John Wick 3: Parabellum especially with the names attached to the film. Starring Keanu Reeves as the titular character along with names like Ian McShane, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne and Said Taghmaoui among others, the film looks like it’s going to deliver a solid third installment to the action franchise.
The John Wick films have been great action films and one of the reasons for that would be its cast. Reeves no doubt kicked ass as the titular character proving that he’s one of the best action stars working today. We can expect the same from this film but it looks like we can expect something special from the rest of the cast too particularly Halle Berry… or at least according to Reeves himself.
Speaking at a press junket to promote his upcoming film Replicas, Reeves had great things to say about his co-star Berry. Reeves told Extra TV:
“She’s absolutely astounding, She gets to do some really cool stuff. This another level. She raised the bar.”
Berry plays Sofia, an apparent ally to the fleeing John Wick following the events of the previous film. Berry has been a pretty versatile actor before providing performances ranging from her Oscar winning role in Monster’s Ball to her Razzie winning role in the abysmal Catwoman. Berry hasn’t really headlined any major projects in recent years (Unless you count Kingsman: The Golden Circle) but that may very well change if what Reeves says is true. We sure as hell hope it is cause it would suck if John Wick 3: Parabellum sucks.
