Karen Gillan, the actress who famously portrays Thanos’ daughter and Gamora’s sister Nebula, has opened up about what we can expect from the character in the upcoming 2019 film Avengers: Endgame.
Nebula made her first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in the 2014 hit Guardians of the Galaxy, which paved the way for more MCU stories down the road, and Nebula has certainly been on quite the journey thus far.
“What can I say? Thanos is her dad and she is definitely going to confront some serious daddy issues,” Gillan told People. “That’s for sure.”
Besides this little bit of information regarding what Nebula will be doing in Avengers: Endgame, Gillan could not tell us anything more. However, even this small piece of information is nice to have nonetheless. It tells us that Nebula will definitely be going on a revenge path, and maybe we will even see Nebula finally put an end to the mad titan Thanos’ reckless behavior after the decimation he caused in this year’s Infinity War.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a script from Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, Avengers: Endgame will be released in theatres on April 26, 2019, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
