Chris Evans Is ‘Not Done’ With Captain America According To Co-Director

Wait, what does that mean?.

There’s been plenty of speculation in regards to the fate of Captain America in Avengers 4 mostly due to Chris Evans emotional post after wrapping up filming for the upcoming MCU flick. The post more or less implied that the actor is done with his role as Cap in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From here, we could assume that Avengers 4 would see the end of Cap but even that is shrouded in mystery as information’s kept on a very short leash in regards to the plot of the film.

As for Evans though, it’s starting to look like there’s more mystery added to the mix thanks to a few words from director Joe Russo. The Russo brothers (The other being Anthony) have directed some of the most successful films in the MCU with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, its sequel Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War along with the upcoming Avengers 4. Pertaining to more mystery I mentioned before, it looks like Chris Evans position in the MCU isn’t entirely set just yet and we may be wrong for thinking he’s done with the MCU.

Joe Russo spoke to USA Today and was asked to comment of Evan’s goodbye along with why it came across as so emotional. Russo responded pretty cryptically not even elaborating, saying:

“I think it was more emotional for [Chris Evans] than it was for us, mostly cause he’s not done yet. I don’t want to explain what I mean, but audiences will soon understand.”

Wait, what? What does that mean? Does that mean he’ll be back? What are you saying Russo? Okay, there’s gonna be something brewing in Avengers 4 and it could be very much related to Captain America. It could also mean something else perhaps in regards to the future of the MCU so we can only wait and see.
