Mission: Impossible- Fallout was bloody amazing and quite possibly one of the year’s best films providing us an action film that should prompt many action film directors to take note. You may not know much about whatever the hell is going on but who gives a s–t? It’s all about the action here and the action is just balls to the walls awesome. Earning critical acclaim along with being a success at the box-office, we can expect a seventh installment from the long-running franchise but god, how on earth are they going to top this?
We still don’t know but it’s safe to say that we can see Tom Cruise back risking his life proving yet again that he is one of Hollywood’s most respected talents. Director Christopher McQuarrie delivered us something great with Fallout and its predecessor Rogue Nation but we know Tom Cruise has a death wish and plenty to add to the table including some ideas for Mission: Impossible 7.
In an interview with Collider, McQuarrie was asked on updates for Mission: Impossible 7. He didn’t reveal much but he assured that Cruise himself has plenty of gigantic ideas. He said:
“I can tell you Tom already has a lot of really big ideas. Yeah. World-topping s–t”
McQuarrie was also asked if it would go to space (please don’t be joking…) to which he responded:
“That would be entirely up to SpaceX or NASA. They would have to be involved with that, I would imagine. Or Paramount Pictures. I don’t know how much they want to invest.”
Say yes NASA!!! We don’t need more space programs just another awesome M:I film. McQuarrie didn’t reveal much nor do we know whether he’ll even return for the seventh film but we know we can expect great things from Mission: Impossible 7 cause Cruise is a f–king maniac. God, I really hope he survives the shooting process for each film cause the M:I franchise is proving time and time again that real action film-making is present in Hollywood and it’s going strong.
