There is no doubt some serious anticipation for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson. Set in the 1990s, the film will see some familiar faces returning albeit as younger versions of themselves including Agent Coulson played by Clark Gregg, pre-eyepatch Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou).
We saw one trailer for the film not too long ago that built some hype and we’re getting a little more information as to the narrative but said information’s still scarce. The film began principal photography in March and wrapped up in July so Captain Marvel looks to be on the right track when it comes to getting s–t ready before its March 8th release next year. However, looks like there’s still a little bit more work to be done as the film’s cast and crew are apparently back on set for re-shoots.
Just Jared unveiled a bunch of photos from the Los Angeles set of the film revealing Larson back in her Starforce suit as well as Clark Gregg back with his young Coulson look. No significant narrative details are revealed from these pics as they were shot in-between takes but we know that re-shoots for Captain Marvel is underway. To check out the photos, click here.

Re-shoots aren’t really a bad thing in case some of you may be freaking out over whether or not they somehow f–ked it up the first time. It’s probably not even a huge chunk of scenes either a’la Solo: A Star Wars Story so we wouldn’t have to worry all that much. For tent-pole blockbusters, re-shoots aren’t uncommon and they’re mostly done to make things in the film suit overall or they’re often just pick-up shots. Captain Marvel would be fine and this re-shoot would likely make things better… let’s just hope they don’t take too much time cause the clock’s ticking.
Captain Marvel is scheduled to be released on March 8, 2019
