Terminator 6 is really looking to go back to basics this time around following the disappointing Terminator: Genisys. With James Cameron making a return to the franchise albeit as producer, things are looking to really bring the franchise back to what it used to be. We don’t really know how far they’re going to really get this right but with Deadpool director, Tim Miller on board, they may go all out.
The film will see Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger back as Sarah Connor and the T-800 respectively. They will also be joined by Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta as cast members for the latest go at this franchise. The film is said to disregard the films following Terminator 2: Judgement Day which as we all know, aren’t the good ones.
We saw a first look at Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes for the film a while back and it’s safe to say they look awesome. Now, we get a look the old timers in a photo posted by Arnie on Twitter featuring himself and Hamilton together on set in a side by side comparison to an older photo to commemorate Linda Hamilton’s birthday. God, I feel so old but then again, I wasn’t born in the early 90s but I sure wish I was able to see T2 on the big screen. This is a pretty heartwarming photo and is something for long time fans to be hopeful about seeing these two legends back together after so long. We last saw in Hamilton in a Terminator film in T2 in what could be considered one of the best action films ever made. With these two back together, maybe some magic can come out of it bringing us another action masterpiece.
