Mike Moh To Play Bruce Lee In Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Tarantino is going to make him a star alright.

If you love films then Once Upon a Time in Hollywood should definitely be on your radar. The upcoming film by legendary filmmaker Quentin Tarantino boasts one hell of a cast with the likes of Leonardo Dicaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Al Pacino. Set in the backdrop of the Manson murders way back in the 60s, the film will feature characters familiar to the world of film such as Sharon Tate who will be played by Robbie along with martial arts legend Bruce Lee and we finally know who will be playing him.

According to The Wrap, Lee will be played by Inhumans actor and martial artist Mike Moh. Last month, it was revealed that he was part of the cast but it was unknown what role he would play. Well… now we know and it seems quite fitting as Moh has expressed plenty of admiration for Lee and has honored him numerous times in Youtube videos. Moh isn’t very well known but he is noted for his role as Ryu in Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist and Triton in the aforementioned Inhumans but that might be changing soon since it’s pretty clear that this Tarantino flick is something to keep an eye out for.

His time in the film is expected to be brief since Bruce was somewhat entangled in the Manson murders for a while. After the murder of Sharon Tate and her friends, her husband Roman Polanski believed that Lee killed them which was untrue of course. So, chances are it’ll be a brief appearance in the film but it is unclear if Polanski would be in it since…. you know…… he’s a pig.

Moh is a great addition and it’ll be great to see what he can bring to the Tarantino flick. It’s safe to say that this film is going to be one hell of a ride and probably even serve as contender come Oscar season. Tarantino’s last affair The Hateful Eight didn’t really live up to what Tarantino’s name could offer but this one looks like it may go above and beyond.
