From target to warrior, Linda Hamilton is returning once again as Sarah Connor in the next Terminator, allegedly already filming in Madrid under the direction of Deadpool‘s Tim Miller. The new film erases the ugly future of bad sequels and instead follows the events in James Cameron‘s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. New photos of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in the new Terminator movie have surfaced.
The images, which you can view on TheTerminatorFans, feature a hardened Sarah Connor sporting a bulletproof vest, which seems to be holding a couple of grenades. These pics are new and likely were made while the movie was shooting in Madrid. There’s not much to say here other than she looks like a total badass, as always.
Hamilton was in the very first Terminator movie in 1984, which was released as a small action film but turned into a cult classic thanks to the star power of bodybuilder turned actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the impressive time traveling storyline. And in 1991, she appeared in the sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day. That was followed by uncredited voice work in 2009’s disastrous Terminator Salvation.
Details of the script aren’t available yet, but James Cameron said that the new movie “is a continuation of the story from Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. And we’re pretending the other films were a bad dream.”
The Terminator reboot also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger alongside franchise newcomer Mackenzie Davis. For the first time since the second Terminator movie, James Cameron will serve as a producer.
The new Terminator opens November 22, 2019.
