The Terminator films after the action masterpiece that is Terminator 2: Judgement Day didn’t really serve much for the franchise. Although it can be argued that Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was fairly decent, the following sequels were disappointing and safe to say, ‘bad’. The recent Terminator Genisys saw Arnold Schwarzenegger back but it unfortunately wasn’t enough to bring the series back to its former glory. Terminator 6 is seeing James Cameron overseeing the production and Linda Hamilton back in action.
A photo has surfaced on Linda Hamilton Fans Facebook page (via The Terminator Fans) suggesting that she is ready to play the badass character we know and love, Sarah Connor . Not much has been said on the plot of the film or what Sarah Connor would be doing in the film but the photo does indicate how she would look like:
The photo was taken in Madrid, Spain and according to The Terminator Fans, it would be the first location of shoot. Linda Hamilton is obviously older now as so is Sarah Connor but the return of Hamilton provides fans with a glimmer of hope. If Arnie couldn’t do it with Genisys, maybe Hamilton would be able to pull it off.
Although Cameron wouldn’t be directing, Deadpool director Tim Miller seems like a great fit for the film having directed one of the best action films in the past few years. This would be Miller’s second time directing a feature length film and if all goes well, he would receive some serious props for bringing to life a franchise that hasn’t done anything significant for over two decades.
