What’s up Rajinikanth fans! Would you like to witness superstar himself in all his glory in Kaala OPENING NIGHT on the big screen for FREE? Well, great news buddy, cause we’re having a fan screening on Thursday (7 June) at Nu Sentral.
This event is held by our sister website Varnam.my and will be attended by local Indian celebrities like rapper Rabbit Mac, radio personality Aanantha from THR, Bala Ganapathi William, Denes Kumar, and many more. Not just that, even the peeps from the Malaysian Rajnikanth fan club will be attending, so you know for sure this is going to be a blast!

No idea who Rajinikanth is or what this movie is about?
Known simply as “Superstar” by fans, Rajinikanth is one of, if not the biggest movie star in India cinema. But his fanbase expands beyond India to Malaysia, Singapore, US and even Japan. But don’t go into his movies expecting an Oscar-worthy indie thumbsucker (there are other Indian movies that are that). Rajinikanth is kinda like a brown older Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson so expect a lot of ridiculous awesomeness, one-liners, ass whooping and all-out badassery.
Kaala is a political gangster drama that will see Rajinikanth play the role of a gangster named Kaala Karikalan. Veteran actor Nana Patekar will play the main antagonist named Hari Dada, a powerful politician. Check out the trailer below:
