Now that Malaysian cinemas are open again, the question on a lot of people’s mind is, when are we gonna get the big blockbusters again? Well, that answer is of course, complicated. While Malaysia has been doing a tremendous job in kicking Covid-19’s ass, the same can’t be said about the United States. The US is the country with the most COVID-19 cases — more than 3 million confirmed cases and 137 000 deaths — and the numbers keep rising. Which means that it’s difficult to say when things will go back to normal over there and when studios big and small will start releasing their films again, though there are some in the industry, like Christopher Nolan, who appear to be confident that the crisis will be resolved sooner rather than later.

So, yes, we have no idea when we’ll be able to catch Tenet, Mulan, or any of the exciting MCU movies that are currently in the works. However, that shouldn’t stop us from getting excited for the future. Personally, I’m eager to watch the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here’s the lineup for phase four and beyond of the MCU.
