Dr. Strange Could Become The Supreme Sorcerer In Avengers: Endgame

After two and a half films, Dr. Strange has yet to ascend to the role of Supreme Sorcerer.

Each passing day brings us closer to the Avengers: Endgame premiere, and we get to see more fan theories attempting to guess the Endgame plot based on everything that has happened so far in the MCU, as well as the various clues that Marvel laid out in Infinity War. Doctor Strange, of course, will play a significant role in the film even though he’s dead, technically.

Doctor Strange has yet to ascend to the role of Sorcerer Supreme and as it stands now, the mystical world is without a leader since the death of the Ancient One in Doctor Strange, but one intriguing fan theory thinks that will change come in Avengers: Endgame.

According to fan theorist u/ak2sup on Reddit, Strange’s time-travelling antics between Infinity War and Endgame will set the Master of the Mystic Arts in a prime position to succeed his predecessor.

Even if there are no clues to this, logic leads us to think that this theory could be correct. We know that sooner or later Strange will assume the role of Supreme Sorcerer and the Russo brothers have hinted so in some interviews.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.

Fans will get to see if the heroes can tip the scales back in their favour when Avengers: Endgame premieres in theatres on April 26th. Other Marvel Studios films released this year include  Captain Marvel on March 6 and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th.
