In case you’ve been living under a rock for some time, Captain Marvel is going to be released in a few days and it looks like it’s getting some endorsement from a number of big name celebrities. The film would be the first female led MCU flick (Unless you count Ant-Man & The Wasp which… come one, who does?) and people are going bananas over it. The film is set in the 90s and we’ve seen some promotional content that highlights this aspect of the film. This latest promo is doing something similar but this time, it includes the likes of Kris Jenner and former Days of Our Lives actress Lisa Rinna.
Yep, the Kardashian matriarch has endorsed the film in this new promotional clip for the film which sees herself and Rinna returning some tapes to Blockbuster only to be interrupted by Danvers who crashes through the roof of the video store. We saw that in the trailer so Jenner and Rinna’s presence was spliced in to promote the film. They react to the whole ordeal and Jenner does what she does best- try to milk some money out of it. Well if Kris Jenner says we should watch it, then I guess we should. Honestly, I have no idea why Jenner is there to begin with cause she’s not exactly a quintessential 90s icon. I mean, she was around back then but come on, she really made it big when the new millennium rolled out. I sorta get why Rinna is on board but come on, a soap opera star? It’s still a nice clip though and well, the Kardashian clan has one hell of a following so this would probably be an effective form of celebrity endorsement.
