The upcoming Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw produced by Dwayne Johnson looks like it’s going to be a pretty fun ride for fans and newcomers to the series. Say whatever you want about how dumb the films can be in regards to story, the series has embraced this aspect and has gone pretty ballsy with their stunts so we can expect this upcoming film to do the same. The trailer was released a while back featuring some pretty insane shit we hope would only be a taste of what we’ll witness once the film is released this August.
Directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) and starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vanessa Kirby, Helen Mirren and Idris Elba among others, Hobbs and Shaw wrapped production recently and it looks like a lot of worked went into it. Hell, Johnson himself has considered this to be the most challenging film he’s produced and starred in when he revealed that the film officially wrapped production in an Instagram post. Yep, looks like Johnson and team poured their blood, sweat and tears into this project and of course, The Rock being the People’s Champ is grateful as always, In a more recent Instagram post, Johnson expressed a ton of gratitude to those involved in the production of Hobbs and Shaw and it’s quite touching to be honest. Let’s hope all this work actually paid off and that the editing department will be able to deliver something special. With Leitch on board, we can expect Hobbs and Shaw to deliver some great action and with these stars leading the film, we sure as hell can expect some balls out charisma.
