The Avengers have a tall order in reversing the damage wrought by Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. It’s hard to even predict how they can save the day. However, a new fan theory suggests that Doctor Strange knew the answer, and it’s why he allowed himself, and half of all life to die when he gave up the Time Stone. The theory comes courtesy of Reddit user u/thomascgalvin.

Time travel is certainly a theory that’s been thrown around frequently, and if time can be reversed, there’s no way the Decimation can be replicated with the Infinity Gauntlet not at full power. And as the theory above stated, the creation of another Infinity Gauntlet is out of the question.
It’ll certainly be fascinating to see if Avengers: Endgame plays out the way this theory suggests. However it plays out, you can bet that time travel will play a crucial part in the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe reversing Thanos’ snap and saving the galaxy.
