Captain Marvel, the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film set to be released in March will take place in the 90s, making it Marvel Studios’ first period piece. The film stars Brie Larson as the titular character, while Samuel L Jackson returns to play Nick Fury — with BOTH EYES this time.
It looks like the studio is going all in with its marketing campaign. In a genius move, Marvel Studios just launched a Captain Marvel website that will transport you back to 1999. From its vibrant colours to its stylistically ugly in-your-face fonts, the website will remind you of the blog you had in primary school. Check out some of the screenshots below.
There’s even a fun game you can play. All you have to do is guess if the ‘human-looking’ extras are actually human or are they shapeshifting Skrulls? There’s even a funny description of the Skrulls too.
Shapeshifters who live among us? Posing as grandmothers, small children, or even your friends? How can you tell and what can you do when confronted by this menace? Take the test and PREPARE YOURSELF for the coming events!!!
