The trailer for John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum dropped not long ago and yes, it looks bloody amazing on some many levels. Starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos and Lance Reddick, the film serves as the third installment to the John Wick franchise. The previous films offered us some fantastic action and a premise that’s just not something you’d see in a lot of modern action films.
Set after the events of the previous film, Parabellum would see John (Reeves) on the run after being excommunicated from The Continental after killing Santino D’Antonio on hotel grounds. Now, John has a $14 million bounty on his head and every assassin in New York wants to f–k him up. But this is John, so things aren’t gonna be easy for them. Check out the trailer below:
God, this trailer looks friggin awesome and we can definitely expect the film to do the same. The trailer does highlight how this one-hour head start given to John would serve as something of utter importance, possibly providing him with a destination to go to or “passage”. However, this is John so we gotta see him f–k people up and he does.
To be honest, the action in Parabellum could possibly be the best the series could offer cause it looks like they’re going all-out in that department. With blades and s–t along with John riding a horse along the city, we can expect some intense stuff from the film. May needs to come sooner.
