Into The Spider-Verse Actor Wants To Play Live-Action Miles Morales

That would be so cool.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was an awesome animated film and quite possibly one of the best films of the year. With the sheer amount of praise the film’s been getting for its animation, humor, action, story and of course voice acting, it seems like the front-runner to bag a number of awards in the animation department during awards season. The character of Miles Morales was brought to life beautifully from voice actor Shameik Moore and it’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing more of Miles in the future.

We’ll probably be seeing a sequel to Into the Spider-Verse with Miles back but you gotta wonder if we’ll ever get a chance to see him go live-action. Spider-Man: Homecoming alluded to Miles’ presence in the universe with the inclusion of Aaron Davis played by Donald Glover who is Miles’ uncle so there could be a chance. However, if that ever happens, there are some questions to be answered in regards to who should play him and it looks like Moore himself is more than interested in doing so.

Speaking to MTV, the actor was asked if he would want to play the live-action Miles Morales to which Moore immediately expressed interest in doing. He said:

Most definitely. I definitely want to be the live action Miles Morales. I understand that he’s a young kid, but hopefully you know, they can play with time and put me in there. But I’m thankful for the opportunity. I would love to be fighting Venom as Miles, with Tom Hardy. You know what I mean? That would be great. I would love to play on screen with my favorite actor out right now”.

Well, there was a little Into the Spider-Verse scene after the credits rolled for Venom so maybe there is a chance he exists there too… or Sony could just be promoting the film. It would be cool though and perhaps it is possible cause Miles is a really cool character that would be great to see more of on the big screen especially live-action. We’ll see how it goes I suppose.
