This is not a drill people! Marvel has just released an official trailer for Avengers 4 and it’s officially called Avengers: Endgame. The trailer starts out with Tony Stark adrift in space, probably trying to reach home after his battle with Thanos on the fallen planet of Titan. The man is clearly in need of a drink as he leaves recordings through his Iron Man helmet for his fiance, Pepper Potts to find. We get a brief glimpse of Thanos enjoying the fruits of his efforts after officially hanging up his role as a conqueror.
The rest of the trailer shows the rest of the survivors( Captain America, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, Thor and Nebula) coping with the loss of their friends and family. We see Hawkeye sporting a sword instead of his signature bow and arrow. Could he be dropping the Hawkeye mantle for a new one as Ronin as speculated in the past? It seems like a big fat yes for now. Steve and Natasha are seen talking about their big plan to take down Thanos before we finally get an official title for the film. The trailer ends with Scott Lang making an appearance, ensuring fans that he certainly did escape the quantum realm!
First, Captain Marvel and now this! It is a good week to be a Marvel fan. We’ve long anticipated since the end of Infinity War to see how Marvel plans on closing out the Avengers saga and by judging by this trailer, it looks grim. We have yet to see any major cosmic players like Captain Marvel but perhaps we’ll get a chance to see what Denvers can really do in the next one. But as of now, we are on full Marvel watch!
