We may not see the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy films back at the helm anytime soon or anymore but there’s a chance his brother Sean Gunn would still make an appearance in the MCU. Sean who played Kraglin in the Guardians films was last seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 and after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, you gotta wonder how he’s doing or if he’s even alive.
It looks like there’s a chance he may be just fine as Sean Gunn believes that Kraglin isn’t done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a phone interview with Tulsa World, Sean was asked on the whereabouts of Kraglin during the events of Infinity War and although, he refrained from giving out spoilers, he does think that his character will be back or at least that he’s not done with the MCU just yet. He said:
“I think I can say this: I don’t think Kraglin’s story is finished yet. I think the fans will, at least, get to know what happens with Kraglin, even though I can’t share that right now.”
He did reveal that he is very confident with Avengers 4 however, revealing that it’s going to be a good film from where he stood as an actor. That doesn’t mean Kraglin would be making a return since Sean also did motion capture for Rocket Racoon so he managed to get a feel of how the film would be. He said:
“I can tell you this, I can tell you that the movie is going to be really excellent. We shot them originally pretty much back-to-back with a short break … and I like (‘Avengers 4’) even more than ‘Infinity War,’ at least from the script and from shooting it, and I was really happy with ‘Infinity War.’ So I’m very hopeful that it’s going to be a great movie.”
Well, it would be cool to see Kraglin again whether it’s in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 or Avengers 4. It’ll be nice to see how he utilizes Yondu’s Yakka arrow cause that’s a damn cool weapon. Obviously Sean isn’t going to reveal too much but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he makes a return.
