He’s at it again! After previously cutting the Star Wars prequels into one 85-minute movie, Topher Grace, along with Jeff Yorkes, cut a trailer for all ten Star Wars films.
That ’70s Show alumnus and BlacKkKlansman star Grace posted a hefty five-minute super-trailer summarising the entire Star Wars saga to date, including Rogue One and Solo. Grace posted a link to the trailer, which he created with the help of editor Jeff Yorkes, on Twitter with the caption: “10 movies. 2 nerds. 1 weekend (when our wives were out of town). Enjoy.”

The trailer, dubbed Star Wars: Always, begins on Tatooine with Luke Skywalker from A New Hope but quickly jumps back to briefly highlight the events of the prequels and Rogue One beneath Obi-Wan’s narration. It then blitzes through Solo and the remainder of A New Hope before completing a quick tour of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, taking care to regularly tie them to the original trilogy in various ways.
According to the actor and Star Wars superfan, the trailer was assembled over a single weekend. Grace worked with friend and Jeff Yorkes on the project, a trailer editor who has since posed the question on Twitter:
“Why don’t studios make ‘mega-trailers,’ tying all the movies of one franchise together, reminding you why you fell in love in the first place?”
Grace is no stranger to Star Wars fan-edit projects; in 2012 he hosted a one-time-only screening of a condensed version of the prequel trilogy he called The Editor Strikes Back, which squeezed The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith into a single, 85-minute film. More recently Grace revealed he had also put together a two-hour cut of The Hobbit trilogy. Grace uses editing as a therapeutic hobby.
